Dr. Grace Kwon

DDS

Dr. Grace Kwon DDS is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Colorado with a BS in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from UCSF School of Dentistry. She then went east to complete her pediatric dentistry residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, as well as a clinical fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston, where she served as Chief resident.

Dr. Kwon is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care by teaching at Stanford Hospital/Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital where she works with children (who have cleft lip/palate, pending organ transplant, special needs, and cancer).

Dr. Kwon is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and is a recipient of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Richard C Pugh Achievement Award.

Dr. Kwon takes her time to build positive relationships by communicating openly with patient and parent. She takes great joy in finding the best way to communicate with her patients.

She is married to Eric Kwon, a general dentist in Palo Alto and they have 2 sons. In her free time, Dr. Kwon enjoys baking, cooking, and travelling.

Dr. Pardis Farhadian

DDS, MS

Dr. Pardis Farhadian is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
 
Dr. Pardis grew up in Menlo Park, CA and completed her doctorate of dental surgery (DDS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She then advanced her training at UCSF’s dual Pediatric Dentistry and Master of Science (MS) program. Prior to attending UCSF, Dr. Pardis received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA.

Over the years, Dr. Pardis has held numerous leadership positions. At UCSF School of Dentistry, Dr. Pardis was student body president and academic Chief Resident. Additionally, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society, in recognition of academic excellence, strength of character, and professional integrity. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association.

When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Pardis loves traveling, baking, and spending time with her husband and two kids exploring local playgrounds and cafes!

Dr. Shelly (Xuerui) Wu

DMD

Dr. Wu is a pediatric dentist dedicated to creating a calm, welcoming dental experience for children of all ages and needs. She enjoys helping kids feel comfortable and confident at the dentist.

Originally from Shanghai, Dr. Wu grew up in Zimbabwe before moving to Michigan, where she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Dr. Wu is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys working closely with families to build healthy habits from an early age. Her approach to care is gentle, thoughtful, and focused on each child’s unique needs.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys yoga, baking, and trying new restaurants around the Bay Area.

 

 

Dr. Yasamin Yazhari

DDS

Dr. Yasamin Yazhari is a board-certified pediatric dentist with advanced training in both general and pediatric dentistry. 

Dr. Yazhari recently relocated to California and is thrilled to be joining Grace Dental, where she continues her passion for providing high-quality, compassionate dental care to children in the Bay Area. 

Originally from Texas, Dr. Yazhari earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at UT Health Houston. 

While in Texas, Dr. Yazhari served as an Associate Professor at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, teaching dental students, while also working in private practice. In was here that she discovered her deep love for working with children. Inspired by their resilience and the complexity of pediatric care, she went on to complete a pediatric dentistry residency at UT Health San Antonio, serving as Chief Resident and treating patients in both clinical and hospital settings. 

Dr. Yazhari is fluent in Farsi and is passionate about making dental care approachable and enjoyable for every child. She has experience with both routine and complex procedures, including cases requiring general anesthesia. 

Outside of work, Dr. Yazhari enjoys hiking, traveling the world, and spending time with her husband—a pediatric hepatologist at Stanford—and their adorable dog, Darcy.
